Discontinued Product Listings and Updates

We’ve noticed that many dealer websites are still listing discontinued products.

To help keep your listings current, we maintain a Product CSV that includes only active products. This should be your primary reference for what is currently available. In addition, we will begin publishing a Discontinued Product CSV to clearly identify items that should be removed from your site.

Used together, these files will help you quickly identify products that need to be updated or removed.

Keeping your listings current is important because it:

  • Prevents customer confusion and frustration when items cannot be fulfilled
  • Reduces order errors, cancellations, and unnecessary back-and-forth
  • Protects your credibility and improves the customer experience
  • Ensures alignment with current availability, pricing, and promotions

We also use visual cues to signal when a product is being phased out. When you see “[CO]” in a product description, it means the item is Closing Out or Closed Out. This indicates that either the brand owner or Iceberg Outdoor Group has decided to discontinue the product.

A few important notes regarding [CO] items:

  • Products tagged with “[CO]” may remain on the portal and in the active Product CSV while inventory exists
  • Once inventory is depleted, the item will be removed from the active list
  • After an item is fully closed out and out of stock, it will appear on the Discontinued Product CSV
  • If you find yourself with inventory of [CO] items after they appear on the Discontinued Product CSV, MAP policies will no longer apply to those products.

We plan to update the Discontinued Product CSV monthly. If product changes accelerate, we may publish updates more frequently.

Along these lines, we plan to discontinue Gazelle tents due to dealer channel conflicts, including limited product access and aggressive direct-to-consumer promotions that reduce dealer margin. We will sell through the remaining inventory, with limited units still available.

You will also see Thor’s Lightning Bolt compressors on the discontinued list, phased out in favor of the new Lightning Strike line. We have tested these units, and the improvements are meaningful. The first batch sold through quickly—please place orders soon to secure inventory from the next shipment.

Additionally, Dometic has discontinued the GO Hydration Water Faucet. While it has been a strong product, we are encouraged by its replacement, the Dometic Recon 360 Faucet, which shows promising improvements.

Please take time to review your listings and ensure they align with the current Product CSV and upcoming Discontinued Product CSV.
